It’s no secret I’m a sucker for great fried chicken… to the point that I will no longer consume it unless I am confident about its production and quality of ingredients… which means I’ll drive a long way to get it… which means I rarely eat it anymore.
But I’m happy to report that the formidable Stroud’s machine in KC has spawned a new branch at 4200 Shawnee Mission Parkway. I’ve heard early criticism that the space they’ve acquired is too small, given the demand for their product in any existing location. But I say that’s shrewd business on their part, and I love it. Had I my own restaurant, would that there were a constant line of people waiting to get in.
One hopes they at least do takeout.
